NEW SOLO SHOW
VERITAPHOBIA
Veritaphobia is Maya's upcoming and ninth full-length solo show. It is an ambitious work that's opening its door to new collaborators in large installation and set design, creating a new powerfully immersive experience. Behind the surrealist performance art, Maya has worked by herself from concept to composing of all original music, designing of 13 costumes and projection videos. She will perform her contemporary 'crossover' operatic songs while transforming through 13 otherworldly characters and installations that represent faces of society.
Veritaphobia (fear of the truth) is channelling environmental and social changes. Questioning if the modern technology is the real cause of dehumanization, or if it is an exhibition of human nature that no longer loves itself?
